SARAGOSSA, Spain and RESTON, Va., USA (January 28, 2010) - LINCEO, a European developer and manufacturer specializing in HD surveillance cameras, today announced the availability of its LC-B1110 intelligent HD IP surveillance camera, with embedded video analytics from ObjectVideo; this product resulting from the two companies’ OEM (original equipment manufacturer) partnership agreement. ObjectVideo is the global leader in intelligent video technology.

With few HD-streaming cameras with advanced video analytics currently on the market, the LC-B1110 joins an elite club, becoming the first of its class designed and manufactured in Europe. This full-featured IP camera embodies intelligence “on the edge,” combining advanced video content analysis capabilities from ObjectVideo with HD IP streaming and GB-capacity local recording. These capabilities allow security organizations to design video surveillance networks that are more autonomous and offer a higher level of resilience to communications network reliability and control centre performance issues. In addition, ObjectVideo-enabled Linceo products will comply with OV Ready™, the analytics protocol that will allow their devices to automatically integrate with a wide variety of video management software platforms.

The ObjectVideo-enabled LC-B1110 camera can intelligently discern objects of interest and distinguish between humans, vehicles and other objects to effectively support security, safety and business intelligence applications. Events of interest—complete with still images or full-motion video—can be sent over the IP network for review by security and operations personnel.
