Mike Shen is the Director of Asia Pacific for ObjectVideo. In this role, Mr Shen is responsible for managing the strategic partnership with WPG System as well as leading regional sales and channel management collaboration with ObjectVideo's global OEM partners.

Mr Shen has worked extensively in the global telecommunications and broadband sectors with intensive experience in the Asian market. Prior to joining ObjectVideo in 2007, Mr Shen was the Vice President of GigaBeam, a publicly listed wireless-fiber equipment vendor. Before then, he was the Vice President of Interlink Capital Strategy, a well-known Washington, DC-based business consulting firm focusing on international emerging markets.

Mr Shen is seasoned in business negotiations in the broad Asian region that covers China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and India. He serves as leader and bridge between different business cultures and his service has been recognized by companies such as AT&T, MCI Worldcom, Sprint PCS, China Mobile, China Telecom, Chung Hwa Telcom, Far East Tone, PCCW, TimeDotCom, Global Telecom, SingTel and Indosat.

Born and raised in Taiwan, Mr Shen received a B.S. in Printing & Media Engineering from Chinese Culture University in Taiwan and a MFA in Mass Communications from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
